To bring awareness to keep clean around the house, roads, public places, academic areas, cities, rural areas etc. among the people of the country some positive initiations under the name of “SWACHHA BHARAT ABHIYAN” programme was launched at first by the Central Govt. of India on 02.10.2014. To follow up the “SWACHHA BHARAT ABHIYAN” programme, some initiations in two consecutive intervals also has been taken by the NCC Unit of Balurghat College, Dakshin Dinajpur. First initiation was made on and from 15th September, 2018 to 2nd October, 2018, and second was held on and from 1st December, 2018 to 15th December, 2018.
For the promotion of global health, harmony and peace, “International Yoga Day” was also celebrated by the NCC Unit of this college on 21st June, 2018. To create awareness and motivate people for blood donation the NCC Unit of this college further organized the “Blood Donation Camp”
